In December 2021, Yili launched its breast milk research ecosystem with the goal of connecting top scientific resources both domestically and globally. The company invites renowned experts from around the world to collaborate on in-depth breast milk research projects and create an integrated platform for industry, university, and research cooperation driven by industrial innovation needs. In China, Yili has established joint research institutes with the academic team of China Agricultural University, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and other authoritative institutions to carry out strategic cooperation. Yili also collaborates with scholars and experts from institutions such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Nanjing Medical University on joint research projects, utilizing shared experimental resources. Internationally, Yili has built its overseas innovation ecosystem centered around two major innovation centers in Europe and Oceania and engages in research cooperation with well-known universities such as Cambridge University in the UK, ETH Zurich in Switzerland, and Wageningen University in the Netherlands.
